Equality and diversity training for 3,500 staff

Working with the client, we developed and ran an equality and diversity training programme for a high profile authority with almost 3,500 staff.

We initially trained the directors, politicians and senior managers, followed by other staff. Special sessions were set up for teachers, parks staff and cleaners and these were delivered on site. The materials were contextualised for each group.

As a consequence of this we were asked to provide specialist workshops on the Race Relations Amendment Act and also on disability discrimination.

This project, now five years old, is still ongoing for new staff and our client is delighted by the high standard of the training.
